Disadvantages of real estate investing

  • If you rent out your real estate property, you may run across a bad tenant
  • You may be entering into a real estate contract without knowing too much about the market and therefore get a bad deal on the real estate property
  • Real estate contracts can be confusing. If you don't understand the real estate contract or lack negotiation techniques, you may find yourself in a bad real estate deal.
  • You may not be able to borrow money to finance your real estate deal if you have had problems with conventional financing in the past.
